About fetchadate

Welcome to fetchadate™ – the place for pet lovers to meet for a date and potentially love! We are fetchadate, LLC (“fetchadate”, “Us” or “We”) and this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website www.fetchadate.com (our “Website”), use our mobile application fetchadate app (“App”) or otherwise access our services (collectively with Website and App, “Services”). We respect your privacy, which is why we want to let you know about the ways we manage and secure your information.
Please read this Policy carefully, as your continued access and use of our Services means you agree to the terms in this Policy. If you do not agree with our terms, please do not continue to use fetchadate (although we would be sad to see you go!). This policy may also change from time to time so please check back periodically for updates. Thank you for visiting fetchadate and taking the time to read this Policy.

Children’s privacy

Because Fetchadate is a place for adult pet lovers, we only offer our Services to users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years old, we ask that you not use or access fetchadate as we do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use our Services.

What we would like to know about you!

We can’t help you find fellow pet lovers without knowing a little about yourself first. This is why we ask for basic profile information and your preferences in the pet (lovers) that you would like to meet. We also collect information generated as you use our Services, such as Internet protocol addresses, as well as information from third parties, like when you access our Services through social media accounts.

Registration and your fetchadate profile

The first step to meeting fellow pet lovers is to put yourself out there and register on our App platform! To register on fetchadate, you will have to create an account on our App where we ask you to complete a basic profile and to include any additional information about yourself. This includes asking for your:
  • Login Credentials.
  • Username.
  • Mobile number.
  • Gender identity.
  • Date of birth.
  • Sexual preference.
  • Photographs (please note that you may be asked to allow us access to your camera or photo album in order to post pictures).
  • Interests, personality traits, and other details about yourself.
  • Location (GPS).
  • Login information and friend lists for social media accounts that you connect to your fetchadate Account (this could include, for example, your Facebook, and Instagram accounts (“Social Media Accounts“).
Please note that some of the information that you choose to provide may be considered “special” or “sensitive” personal information in some jurisdictions (for example, racial origins, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs). By choosing to provide this information, you voluntarily consent to our processing of that information.

What information we fetch from you

Whenever you and Fido log on, we receive technical information about you or how you access our Services. For example, we collect information about which features you’ve used, how you’ve used them, and the devices you use to access our services. We use this information to constantly improve fetchadate so that we can find you and your pet the best match possible. Such information includes:
  • Usage Information: Details of your use of our Services, such as which links you clicked on, content response times, pet lovers you connect with, the number of messages you send and receive, and other similar communication data you access and use on the App.
  • Device Information: Information about your mobile device, computer, and internet connection, including your Internet Protocol address, operating system, and browser type.
  • Geolocation Information: If you choose to enable these features, we can collect your geolocation (latitude and longitude) through various means, depending on the service and device you’re using, including GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi connections. This information helps to personalize our App and allows you to more easily interact with other pet lovers near you. The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren’t using the services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection. Don’t worry – you can always choose to disable this feature by accessing your Settings in the App. If you decline permission for us to collect your geolocation, we will not collect it.
